Attn: Marion Residents- Phone Scam

Marion police say residents are receiving calls from unkown person(s) soliciting funds for the Marion Police Department. They're asking for donations to "make the streets of Marion safer". The police department is not, and will not be engaged in any fundraisers. This is a scam- and those who receive these calls should hang up and report the incident to local authorities.
